Summary –  
Preservation Virginia seeks a Maintenance and Grounds Manager to assist with operations across several museum sites owned and operated by Preservation Virginia.

Responsibilities – 
The grounds and maintenance manager will be responsible for:
Performing various repairs and upkeep tasks relating to building infrastructure and landscape management.
Overseeing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems.
Managing security, fire protection, and grounds maintenance contracts.
Ensuring the regular maintenance of staff vehicles and grounds equipment.
Provide general staff support including occasionally assisting with historic preservation and curatorial projects.  

Additional Info – 

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to commute to the Richmond area or the Williamsburg/Surry County area.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull object(s), heavy materials, and equipment.
Valid Driver’s License; ability to provide personal transportation and operate company vehicles and trailers.
Ability to travel and work throughout the state of Virginia.
Perform manual labor in outdoor and indoor environments year-round.
Safely work from ladders and scaffolding.
Effectively and safely operate a variety of trade tools and equipment.
Previous maintenance or trade experience preferred.
