In our continuing collaboration with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, we're excited to return to presenting the next installment in the Connect to Conservation Collections Care Workshops
Join us on Tuesday, August 10 at 1:00pm for a FREE virtual presentation and conversation with VMFA conservators focusing on agents of deterioration including light, humidity, insects, and mold, and how to mitigate their impact on collection objects while both in storage and on display.
This informative online presentation will be led by Debbie Linn, Assistant Chief Conservator, and Stephen Bonadies, Chief Conservator and Senior Deputy Director. who bring expertise in works on paper, paintings, and objects. They will also be on hand to answer specific material-related questions. Information on monitoring devices and potential funding sources (federal/state grants) will be shared.
