Join the Virginia Association of Museums for an Advocacy Day Training session led by VAM board member, Colleen Higginbotham. The Zoom link is here: https://us05web.zoom.us/j/83658898248 scheduled for Friday January 24, at 11am.
This interactive session will prepare you to champion your museum’s mission and share its vital role in the community. Together, we’ll explore:
- How decisions are made at the state and local levels—and why your voice is essential in those spaces.
- Building authentic connections with elected officials to foster partnerships that advance your museum’s goals.
- Crafting compelling messages that highlight your museum’s impact and inspire action.
- Navigating key advocacy issues like funding, programming, and education with confidence and clarity.
