Virginia Museum Advocacy Day gives us a chance to connect with legislators to promote your organization and VAM as an essential resource in the Commonwealth.
If you're new to VAM and your company is a member, create your own account to begin taking advantage of your company's membership.

Helpful Apps--Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP) has created a nice app available for download to your phone in your app store that serves as a Virginia General Assembly Directory. It has all the House & Senate Members, Contact Information, Map of their new office in the General Assembly Building, and Committee Assignments. For Google Play, visit this link.

Attire--We suggest that you dress in business attire for this event--a suit isn't necessary, but you want to look tailored and professional. Definitely choose comfortable shoes for walking, though--you will be doing a lot of that!
