Cancellation Policy

VAM reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. In the event of such a cancellation, participants will receive a full registration refund or credit, based on preference. VAM is not responsible for any expenses, travel or otherwise, incurred as a result of participation in or cancellation of a program.

Any open balance due to a cancellation after the deadline will need to be paid in full before you will be able to register for any upcoming event.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received a week prior to the workshop date will be eligible for a credit or refund unless otherwise noted. Cancellations received after this time are non-refundable. Participant substitutions are accepted at any time. No-shows will not be refunded. All cancellations must be made in writing. 

Conference Cancellation Policy

The cancellation deadline for the annual conference is one week after the hotel reservation cut-off date. Only refund requests for cancellations received in writing and postmarked by this date will be considered. Refunds will be processed after the conference. A $75.00 processing fee will be deducted. VAM pays upfront costs for each registrant well before the event itself. If you cancel after this deadline and have a balance due, you will be responsible for that balance.
