African American Affinity Group Meeting Saturday, March 13th, 10:00 AM-12:30 PM, Omni Hotel.  Our first meeting of this group of sites that interpret African American history was such a success, we are having another.  If you are coming to town early, please plan to sit in on this discussion! You do not need to be attending the conference to come to this event.  If you would like to be added to the mailing list, contact Margo at mcarlock@vamuseums.org.

Scholarship Reception: Saturday, March 13, 2010, 5:30 pm.  Mr. and Mrs. William Royall will be graciously opening their Tudor Revival home on Cary Street Road.  Enjoy the house, the meticulously restored Gillette garden, and the Royalls' extensive art collections.  Fee benefits the VAM scholarship fund.  Register online, or call 804-788-5822 to add it to your registration.

Registrars Reception: The Richmond Registrars invite you to a pre-conference reception on Saturday March 13th at 7:30 pm, at the fabulous Eclectic Electric collection.  If you are a curator, registrar, collections maanger, or a vendor who works with museum collections, make plans to join the party!  There is no fee; if you are interested in attending, please email Kim Watson.

Certificate Breakfast: Join us Tuesday morning, March 16th for our Certificate Breakfast--if you are an alum, a current student, or are interested in joining the program.  Add this event when you register, or to add it if you have already registered, call 804-788-5822.  There is a fee.
